About

You have connected with Connected, the online magazine produced by Christian Record Services. Connected is a forward-looking web magazine for young adults, especially those who are blind or visually impaired. Its mission, as you can see at the top of this page, is to strengthen readers’ bonds with God, family, friends, and community.

Though Connected is created especially for visually impaired readers, most of its contents will be of interest to all who value the magazine’s mission. It is created for an interdenominational audience, and is available online to everyone. No login is required to enjoy the magazine.

The editors encourage readers to take advantage of Connected’s “blog” feature, responding to stories, articles, columns, or editorials that especially resonate with them. Connected will be more enjoyable and more valuable to all if it becomes a two-way conversation. So let us hear from you when you have a reaction. We will screen responses for appropriateness, and we look forward to sharing many compliments, criticisms, and alternative points of view with all Connected readers.

You can expect to see fresh reading material in Connected every week. Devotionals under the title “God is Faithful” appear most frequently. A new entry in the "Editor’s Journal" appears at least twice a month. New stories and articles appear monthly—sometimes more often than that. Check back often to see what’s new. All contents are archived so you can read anything that has been posted in the past. Be sure to click on the words in the green title bar to see the full selection in each category.

Connected is always on the lookout for insightful writers to provide engaging stories and articles. Modest financial honoraria are provided to writers whose work is accepted for publication. Unsolicited submissions are encouraged. For writers’ guidelines email editor@christianrecord.org.

We’re glad you have discovered Connected. Let’s keep in touch.
