The nomination deadline for the 2007 US Secretary of Labor’s New Freedom Initiative Awards has been extended from April 30 to May 31, 2007. The 2007 awards mark the sixth year that U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao is honoring businesses, non-profit organizations and individuals who have demonstrated exemplary and innovative efforts in increasing employment opportunities for adults and young people with disabilities.
