To Grow a Garden, Think Inside the Box

Posted July 9th, 2007

Gardening in containers rather than in the typical garden plot makes it easy for a person experiencing vision loss to continue gardening.

According to the American Foundation for the Blind Senior Site “Containers make identifying plants and seed locations trouble-free, and let you cultivate your garden without the work of bending and digging garden beds. Containers also allow you to choose and use the best soil, moisture, and lighting conditions for your favorite plants and flowers.”
