Braille Course Opens Musical Possibilities
Posted August 1st, 2007A course in music fundamentals using Braille Music Code has been created by Dancing Dots of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. The course includes instruction in music reading, sight singing, music theory, and ear-training. A print version is included for use by a sighted teacher or tutor. It is possible, however, for a blind student to study the course independently without prior knowledge of Braille Music Code. Course materials include four Braille volumes and three print volumes.
