Touch the Invisible Sky
Posted January 31st, 2008In January, NASA unveiled a book that allows blind and visually impaired persons to "Touch the Invisible Sky," as the book is entitled. This book has special tactile features like lines and bumps that help readers experience the color, shape, and other qualities of our solar system’s sun to galaxies.
Besides unique tactile features, the book has color images and text in both large print and Braille. This book is truly for everyone.
Touch the Invisible Sky will be available through the Library of Congress, the National Federation of the Blind, NASA libraries, and other libraries and schools for the blind.
