Is My Drink Keeping Me Fat?

Posted February 7th, 2008

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, "Most people try to reduce their calorie intake by focusing on food, but another way to cut calories may be to think about what you drink."

In fact, the CDC reveals that many people aren’t aware of the calories they get from drinks each day. For example, a sweetened lemon iced tea (16 ounces) contains 180 calories. A sparkling water with natural lemon flavor (unsweetened) is a 0-calorie alternative.
