A Week of Fun

Posted May 12th, 2008

It is almost summer camp season and for legally blind persons aged 9 and up National Camps for Blind Children® provides a week at camp. Thanks to generous friends of blind children, camping is free for qualifying individuals. Campers have seven camps to choose from in the United States. Depending on the camp, activities may include rock climbing, sailing, mini biking, hiking, swimming, water-skiing, and horseback riding. Four camps are held by National Camps for the Blind® in Canada.
