"No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived. . ." 1 Corinthians 2:9

I recently finished my personal journey through the Psalms–of which I have shared bits and pieces with you–and now I want to review for myself, and for you, some of the most significant "assurance texts" that I have fixed in my memory. I encourage you to discover the added blessings of memorizing promises and key texts in which we can anchor our confidence and faith.

My first text in this list is one that is usually applied to heaven—some day in the future. But the next verse tells me it's not just for heaven; it's for right now. Here is the full text:

"No eye has seen,

no ear has heard,

no mind has conceived

what God has prepared for those who love him.

But, God has revealed it to us by His Spirit" (emphasis mine).

Here is the condition that God laid out to me again this morning: If I want to be wowed by all that He is eagerly waiting to give me, I need to love Him!  That's all; just love Him. Then these things that I can’t even imagine are mine. It’s not just for heaven, someday, in the sweet by-and-by. The excitement and potential of God is not something I have to wait for–it's available now!

Have a great day discovering God’s incredible gifts for you.
